After founder and president Simone Puccinelli received a God-appointed email from school administrator Kayiire Godfrey in 2010 requesting help to save God’s Hope Primary School, she knew she had to do something. Through the help of family and friends, she was able to raise the $500 the school needed to pay rent. Soon afterward, she traveled to Uganda to meet Godfrey, his wife, Hope, and their students. Upon meeting them, she realized this was a divine connection and decided to devote her life to helping this school and the children it serves. Since its foundation over a decade ago, Simone’s Kids has received the Guide Star Seal of Transparency, been featured on GreatNonprofits’ top-rated list, and ranked 8 out of 650 primary schools in the district.
Helping Serve God’s Hope Primary School Students for Over a Decade
