SIMONE’S KIDS COFFEE FARM

We believe the best kind of impact keeps growing. Through our new Coffee Farm, we’re planting seeds that will provide sustainable opportunities, strengthen our ministry, and help transform lives for years to come.

SUSTAINABILITY

At Simone’s Kids, we are committed to building a sustainable future. While the generosity of our donors remains essential to the daily operation of our programs, we also believe in creating long-term solutions that will strengthen our ministry for years to come.

Our Coffee Farm is a significant step toward that vision. Within the next five years, we hope to have a thriving coffee farm, generating sustainable income to help support the ongoing operational costs of our school and campus. This means more stability for our students, greater opportunities for our community, and a stronger foundation for the future.

Today, we’re in the early stages of making that vision a reality. By partnering with us now, you’re not simply funding a farm, you are helping impact lives for years to come.

COFFEE

Our goal is to plant 10,000 coffee trees across 35 acres of our 50-acre property in Uganda. Each tree costs $4 to plant, and after approximately four years, when the farm reaches a full harvest, that initial investment is expected to generate about $10 in revenue per tree.

Beyond creating a sustainable source of income, the coffee farm will provide employment opportunities within the Nakaseke community, strengthen the long-term stability of our campus, and introduce students to a valuable vocational pathway they can explore for their futures.

Through this project, we are planting more than coffee. We are cultivating opportunity, sustainability, and lasting impact.

BANANAS

Banana trees play a vital role in the success of our coffee farm. While they will provide an additional source of income through future harvests, their primary purpose is to support and protect the coffee plants as they grow.

Banana trees provide natural shade for young coffee plants, help retain moisture in the soil, reduce erosion, and contribute to a healthier growing environment. They also serve as a food security crop, producing fruit much sooner than coffee and helping sustain the farm and surrounding community while the coffee trees mature.

By planting coffee and bananas together, we’re creating a resilient, sustainable farming system that will provide both immediate and long-term impact for the Nakaseke community.
